Good examples of grills can be found from our sponsor. The cover of Mac's shows 1948-1972 grills. Should be easy to determine the year. Something I learned and thought I'd pass along. I'm new at body work and painting and respirators. Did you know that the charcoal cartridge, once exposed to air, has a 30 day life!! After that it lets all those chemicals through.(no wonder my head hurts). Safety First. If your interested in getting a copy of the Red book let me know. I just called them and found out that the book is priced at $6.98. And then I found out they want $4.95 for shipping and handling. But I then found out that there store is only about 15 miles from me ! So I would be willing to pick up a copy for anyone who'd like one and send it out from the post office here for I'm sure alot less than the $4.95 they want. Interesting point, I learned this with Litmus paper too. They sell you big rolls of the stuff wrapped in foil which doesn't do much to keep out moisture and the air is actually normally basic which reacts with the paper to turn it pink (as I recall) but once the reaction has taken place the paper is stable and useless for further testing. I bought $27 worth for coolant testing only to have it all ruined in our very high humidity and our lab people don't even know about this as they keep theirs lying around in drawers with other chemicals etc.. What a bummer! I paid this out of my own pocket too :-( Now we just use a spectrometer to test for the solution concentration of the synthetic and maintain it that way which didn't work till we had all the bacteria out of the system since the bacteria caused the coolant to go acidic rather rapidly so the litmus paper testing etc...........................
