Anyway IMHO -H= I think your best bet will be figure where they all go. Is the plate an EGR plate or is it just a spacer. Is this the original engine? An electronic ignition was the best thing I've done to my truck. I got it at pick a part for $21.00. >3) I got a ticking noise. (everyone does, dont they?) > I believe its from the valves. My 302 if there is a gap I need to buy a longer pushrod. Maybe one of your rockers is loose. A Hydraulic lifter is a cylinder with a piston in it. The cylinder fills with oil allowing a marginal Clarence and dampening. Every head you worked on was a Chevy I bet! :) >4) Steering question. Did the F100 come w/ power steering? or assist? > My girlfriend likes big arms, but this is getting out of hand. > If not, can I rape a later chassie? Get a piece of plywood cut to size and use wood screws to attach it to the old wood! It's going to cost some bucks replacing the wood restoring it to look original. >'70 F100 stepside short bed (I do mean short!!..;) FYI, stepside is Chevy, Flairside is Ford. But you have added weight to my bet on the heads! :) Good luck.
