The Warner T-18 4 speed and the New Process 435 4 speed ought to bolt right up in the same place as the Ford 3.03 3 speed. The t-18 and NP435 are floor shift, however, so you will need a new hole in your floorboard to accommodate the shifter if your 3 speed is a column shift unit. ------------------------------ From: "Garrett Nelson" Subject: What transmissions would fit in my 66 F100? Whitney. They both have all the weather stripping for around the side windows (felt strips-anti rattle kits) & rubber door seals. I hope this will help you out. Good luck with your '66. -----Original Message----- From: Garrett Nelson To: 61-79-list Date: Sunday, May 28, 2000 10:28 PM Subject: [61-79-list] Where can I find weatherstripping for my 66 F100? > >I have a 1966 F100 and I need new weather-stripping for the doors and windows. And.........THEY won't laugh at you. Good luck, Phil (64 F-100) P.S.- LMC is another good source but they run a lot higher then most. They have a slick catalog though. ________________________________________________________________ ------------------------------ From: "Ben VerWolf" Subject: Intermittent wipers Date: Mon, 29 May 2000 07:27:28 MDT Hello! I have a 69 F-250 4x4 and I am wanting to change my wipers from the old two speed to intermittent wipers. I have heard that it is possible to change the old switch to a newer one out of a late 70's to early 80's pickup. If this is true, I would like some info. Thanks! ________________________________________________________________________ ------------------------------ From: GMontgo930 Date: Mon, 29 May 2000 16:55:58 EDT Subject: Re: Intermittent wipers In a message dated 5/29/2000 9:29:03 AM Eastern Daylight Time, verwolfman << Hello! To make the system work, you'd need both. I know from experience that my wiring harness in my 73 F100 was a direct swap over. Unplug from the old switch, plug it into the module, then the module into the new switch. The fastest upgrade I've ever done. Now if the connector is the same as your 69, then it should work. At best, you'd have to find a place to mount the module. I spose you could always change the plug on the wire harness if yours is different. Depends on how far you want to go. They are required to interface with the brake activated switch. As I remember the list you need is: vacuum resivoir, vacuum check valve, throttle servo, speedometer cable, control module and wiring harness. If you have any questions let me know.
