"I knew a
guy many years ago whose job was to drive new cars off of the assembly
line
to the first staging area. On one a steering wheel came off in his
hands. I
asked if he reported it. "Heck, no, that's not my job."

Have a friend who works at the local Ford dealer who told me that a few
years back right before a strike cars and trucks were coming in with
things like 1 piston in a engine missing all it's rings,bolts missing
from ring gears, rod bolts etc. Guess I would find out how Labor-
Management relations are at Ford before ordering a new truck.
